LOCAL POETRY/WRITING WORKSHOP

Downriver Poets and Playwrights is a local group that meets to share their work with others in a workshop setting.

 

WHERE AND WHEN?

Downriver Poets and Playwrights Literary Group founded prior to 1984. the Downriver Poets and Playwrights Literary Group is the longest running, critique-oriented workshop for both poets and prose writers in the Downriver region. The format invites writers to read their work (bring 10-15 copies of a poem or short piece of prose to pass to members) which is then followed by friendly, constructive criticis.

 

All types of work (in good taste) are welcomed.


Now meeting on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Bacon Memorial Library in the first room to the right after entering the building.

No fee! It's free!

Bring a beverage and snack for yourself, if you like. Stop by and see if it’s right for you.

  There is parking in front and behind the library building. Front is handicap acessable.
