The Woodlawn Heights Taxpayers and Community Association is aware of a new development project sponsored by Mr. Ray Kahn on East 236th Street. This developer has applied for an “As of Right Benefit” program that allows “Developers to receive a partial tax exemption for new construction projects that are 100% market rate.

Our elected representatives have been in contact with the developer to further discuss his intentions.
Note: There has been no application submitted for affordable housing on East 236th Street.
