2. Annual Meeting Board Elections - January: It?¡?¦s not too early to begin thinking of volunteering for one of two Board Positions (Vice President, Treasurer). The terms are two-years and duties are outlined in our Bilaws. Call Jeff Torgerson (366-6020) for more information.

3. Norman Forester, Tim Vermillion reminds everyone to water your young trees...especially during this hottest summer month.

4. Join us in thanking our Fountain Committee: Thanks to Derek Vincent, Bob Franzese, Rich Smith, Mike Bates, Todd Smith, Jeff Torgerson and all those who stopped to cheer on the group during an interesting couple weeks of head-scratching, hole-digging and problem-solving. Much money was saved. Please keep children out of the water for safety. Use the Pool! Upcoming: another timer for the light, a dam for increased depth and aesthetics and (for next season), a concrete sealant.

Neighborhood Issues

1. Dog Owners: Aside from keeping in mind the nuisance of a constantly barking dog, please remember that your neighbors?¡?¦ yards are not acceptable depositories of your dog?¡?¦s waste. For other fineable offenses, refer to the city?¡?¦s website at http://cityofnorman.com/ and find ?¡?§City Ordinances?¡?¨ which will lead you to:

ARTICLE IV. DOGS AND CATS ( Sec. 3-405. Barking dogs) ?¡?§No person shall own, keep, or harbor any dog that annoys or disturbs any person by loud and frequent barking, howling, and/or yelping. (Ord. No. 0-7475-56).

2. The Boy?¡?¦s bathroom door at the clubhouse will be replaced at a cost of $155.00 plus labor. Help in identifying responsible parties is requested.

3. Parking in front of Mailboxes: Please don?¡?¦t. Letter carriers will skip you, and possibly your neighbors. All street parking will continue to be highly discouraged in this community. Please understand the reasons, and respect the wishes of your neighbors!
