My neighbors and I have seen a very large long haired German Shepherd and a Rottweiler loose around our area. They have been seen taking down a deer (3-7-00), killing it, then proceeded to eat it. This is not good for our kids, pets and joggers. Once a dog has killed, it will do it again. This message is intended to inform you of this hazard in our neighborhood.

I've seen the shepherd; he's often on Sunshine Meadow as I'm turning off Vista Verde to go out via Cimarron. He's scruffy, big, and unafraid of cars (I have to honk for him to move). I've seen him and another dog eating a deer in this location. Is this the area others have seen him in? Considering how big our subdivision is, we should probably be more specific about where they've been seen. Can we do anything about him/them?
