Announcements: Michael Seeley announced the passing of Robert Older and the closing of La Perla restaurant.

Old Business:

Minutes: Secretary reported Sept. minutes posted on the neighborhoodlink.com site.
Secretary: Secretary reported coordinating printing & distribution of Oct. meeting notification; and sympathy cards to the Placentia and Snyder families.
Treasurer: Treasurer submitted report activity and introduced the proposal for handling returned checks. Nathan Reed moved to approve policy. Motion approved unanimously.
COP: No report.
ComLink: Boudsakhone announced the 10/30 school board candidates forum.
Movies in the Square: Michael announced the event will take place 10/26 and Jacquie Rudge will coordinate sales of food and drinks. A $350 budget was previously approved for impending August date. Jo Ann Ramirez moved to increase previously approved budget from $350 to $550. Motion passed unanimously.
Jacquie Rudge moved deposit for audio-visual equipment not to exceed $1,000 deposit. Motion passed unanimously.
Home Tour & Tea Update: No report
Traffic Diverters: Dave Rudge presented the three options for vote. A lively discussion ensued about involving more of the neighborhood in the vote. Ricki Older moved to vote on diverter selection #1, #2 or #4 at the Oct. meeting. The following is a recap of the voting: selection #1 -- 8 votes; 18 votes for selection and 2 votes for selection #4
Newsletter: No date on next publication.
By-laws: Chuck Dobson presented three by-law changes. After much discussion it was decided to research whereabouts of original by-laws and tackle any and all by-law changes at one time. Jo Ann Ramirez introduced the prospect of re-visting IRS Non-profit designation.

New Business:
Nathan Reed moved to hold elections at November meeting. Motion passed unanimously. November meeting will be the annual meeting.

November Annual Meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Lathrop Intermediate at 7:00 p.m.
