City of San Antonio/Bexar Co. Tax Phase-in Guideline Task Force

This is to provide you with the agenda for the third and final public hearing of the City of San Antonio/Bexar County Tax Phase-in Guideline Task Force, scheduled for October 6, 2003 at 5:30 p.m. in the first floor Board Room of the City's Development and Business Services Center, located at 1901 South Alamo. Again, you are invited to provide input on the proposed set of policy-level recommendations for the single set of property tax abatement guidelines to be possibly used by both jurisdictions. Interested organizations and persons signed to speak are encouraged to provide written testimony and/or position papers on their topic addressed. Once this public review process is completed, the Joint Task Force will incorporate any accepted recommendations and changes into the guidelines, and then present them for review by the Bexar County Commissioners Court and the City of San Antonio Tax Phase-in Advisory Committee and City Council.

Interested parties can visit the web sites of www.sanantonio.gov/edd or www.bexar.org to view or download a copy of the Task Force's proposed policy recommendations. Public comments may also be sent to the following e-mail for consideration by the Task Force: ecodev@co.bexar.tx.us
