Whittier Neighborhood

Is anyone interested on discussing the large and disturbing amount of gang activity in the neighborhood?

I would like to discuss what other people have already done, would like to do, and see what can be done.

Holeigh I wonder too. As a soon to be teacher in Denv'er innner city schools I not only am saddened by the activity, but want to help. My understanding is that there is a "truce' right now between certain people, but I am guessing that means little in the big picture sense.

 

I too would be curious to see what can be done on a community level. On apersonal level I hope to just help kids and give them alternatives to the gang life.

I'd love to see other's input.
