School and Community Partnership

Community Message Board

Westwood Neighborhood Association Association is an "adopter" of Westwood Elementary School. Through a grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis and support of members, WCAA provided the school with an illuminated message board. The school uses the message board to keep parents and residents informed about school schedules and activities.

Partnership with Community Businesses-2008

Westwood Neighborhood Association is proud of support from businesses in the community and surrounding areas. We are please to announce the organization was recently granted 501(c)(3)status. Your donation is now tax deductible. Our sincere appreciation to the following businesses for their 2008 donations: Mr. Jim Neely of Interstate Barbeque Restaurant and Mr. Dominie Coda of Coda's Liquor Store.

Walgress Drug Store at the corner of W. Raines and Highway 61 S.has formed a new partnership with the association to make Westwood a better community. We look forward to working with Ms. Broome.

Partnership with Schools

Westwood Neighborhood Association, through its strategic plan,is focusing on assisting the area schools in addressing students academic needs, providing assistance for schools to bring awareness and respect for the community.
