Our Neighborhood

The Westville neighborhoods commercial area is centered around the 'Village' and Whalley Avenue. Known for antique shops and art galleries, Westville offers, all types of shopping and services, restaraunts and nightlife, its own Post Office and a branch of the New Haven Free Public Library. Westville is also the home of West Rock and Edgewood parks, The Yale Bowl, the Connecticut Tennis Center and Southern Connecicut State University. The elevation rises as you go West towards the Yale Golf course and the homes get nicer as you go up.
