Speed humps rule!

Posted in: Washington Park East
You left out....

Exposition and Virginia.

A related topic: I don't like people parking cars in the street in front of my house. Fortunately, most of my neighhbors and I have at least as many garage spaces as cars, and we have very few street parkers. What I notice is that people slow down considerably when there are plenty of parked cars. Without them, it's a raceway.

Personally, I drive way too fast on the highway. But in someone's neighborhood? Why? Are you shaving fifteen seconds off of the trip? Are you going to waste a kid's life for those 15 seconds?
NO WAY

Speed humps? NO WAY! If you want speed bumps, go to California, they put one in front of your house for free. When do you think a car pollutes the most? During speed up. Denver has yet to figure this out, just go downtown and see if the lights are anywhere close to being synchronized. Besides not being able to plow, there are pollution issues. Enforcement of current laws is the answer.

Slow down there flapjack!

Let's not be all imperious about how we're addressing problems in the neighborhood tough guy. Your argument is baseless. Enforcement of current laws does not work in ANY situation in this country and any reasonable person knows that. Besides, what kind of a-hole spells Michael with a ''y''?

My advice is to install the humps. Maybe some of these fruity ''park visitors'' will stop using the park.
