A month ago I posted information about a reward being offered for information leading to apprehension of the individual responsible for cat mutilations and killing. Since that time another cat has been brutally killed and its body cut in half. Half of the cat's body was left on the paved path on the west side of Smith Lake in Washington Park on April 17, 1999. Please, if your cat is killed or injured under mysterious circumstances contact the Dumb Friends League, Investigations Unit and refer to this message. Also, keep your cats in a night as the most minimal precaution.

This is serious stuff

For the information of those who read this message. The scarey part of the deaths that I have recounted is that this type of behavior leads to more dramatic crime, such as serial homocide. Please, be aware and report any mysterious incidents with your pets or those of your neighbors!
