VACUUM LEAF PICKUP DISCONTINUED DUE TO BUDGET PROBLEMS

My wife Margaret is a Community Partner with the County Department of Public Works and Transportation and recently received the attached letter from DPWT Director Dr. Haitham Hijazi.

The letter states that the County will no longer be providing vacuum leaf collection due to budget cuts. Residents are asked to put bagged leaves at the curb on the normal yard waste collection day, which is Wednesday in our community.
