Tree Maintenance

Did you know that maintenance and removal of trees growing in the area between the sidewalk and the curb in front of our houses is the responsibility of the county?

If you have a tree that either needs to be trimmed or cut down and removed please contact the county with your request and the address where the tree is located.

Results

After many months of waiting and several phone calls a tree in front of one of our neighbor's houses was cut down yesterday, 25 March 2008.  The crew ground up the stump and hauled away all of the debris.

If you need maintenance on a tree between the curb and sidewalk in front of your house please make a call to the county and request the service.  Ask them to give you a claim number to use if you need to make any follow-up calls.

Thanks to the homeowner for staying on top of this matter.  Thanks to the county for filling the request.  At least four trees have been removed in the last year because of our persistence.
