Painter Maps ... Maps for the Millennium

Painter Maps, owned by West End resident and business owner, Barb Painter, is currently engaged in an exciting joint project with the WEBPA to produce a unique and FUN watercolor map portraying W 7th/ West End area businesses and our many points of interest.

Since it's inception in 1991, Painter Maps has produced many of these beautiful maps including Grand Avenue, Wayzata, Excelsior, Selby Avenue, Minneapolis Skyway System and Warehouse district, Duluth, Hibing, and more. Classy and well-researched, every map is unique and different (you've actually got to SEE them to understand how fabulous they are). Barb and local artists do a superb job of capturing the look, "feel" and history of each individual community.

Painter Maps is a proven navigational tool directing both local and tourist dollars to our community and to your business ... especially relevant now, with the Minnesota Wild coming to town! The maps will be distributed in a wide variety of Twin Cities hotels, visitor centers, and many other places that people (potential customers) play, work/do business, visit and frequent. Painter Map's unprecedented level of distribution is aimed at drawing attention to what our community has to offer, bringing people from both inside and outside the area to our business district.
