1. Welcome and Introduction
2. Guest Speaker: Pastor Paul Schmiege, Saint Luke's Lutheran Church , discussed the new street lighting we have on 46th street between Eighth and Tenth Avenues. Several people noted that the new lighting was too bright and Pastor Schmiege agreed to speak with Bob Esposito and Shari Dobleoff of the Times Square Alliance.
3. Guest Speaker: Jason Haber, District Coordinator for Scott Stringer, Assemblymember 76th A.D. , visited the meeting to introduce himself.
4. Guest Speaker: Mike Stefanovich, Community Relations, Midtown North Police Precinct , visited the meeting and spoke about the graffiti removal project they have with labor from the Midtown Community Court.
5. Reading of the Minutes of Prior Meeting- the February and March minutes were voted on and accepted without changes.

6.1. President?’s Report
6.1.1. Report of Internet site (http://www.west46streetblockassociation.org) activity through March 30h: 16 visits to entire site, 7 home page, 0 calendar, 4 newsletter
6.1.2. Disaster preparedness project: Darrick reported that we will order copies of ?“Ready New York?” to distribute in certain buildings, at the Ninth Avenue Food Festival, at the Wine and Cheese Party, at St. Clements Church, at Hartley House, at the Ryan-Chelsea Clinton Heath Center and the Village at 46th and Tenth
6.1.3. Times Square Alliance?’s Eighth Avenue Advisory Committee - Darrick attended a meeting at the Westin Hotel on Fri, Mar 11th. The Committee was formed to explore ways in which Eighth Avenue can be improved to attract businesses. The number of pornography stores was considered an impediment to attracting other businesses.
6.2. Vice President?’s Report: Christina reported that she is working to obtain a permit for our presence at the Ninth Avenue International Food Festival.
6.3. Treasurer?’s Report- in Allison?’s absence, Darrick reported our balance.

7.1. Communication (June Stern)- no report
7.2. Ivan Shapiro House (Watty Strouss, chair) - no report

7.8. Midtown North Community Council (June Stern, meets every third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at Fountain House) ?– Darrick reported that he attended the March 15th meeting.
8. Unfinished Business
8.1. Bulletin Board- Darrick reported that Leah Worrell of Partnership for Parks notified us that Christian Paro, May Matthews Playground Park Manager, notified Leah that the bulletin board we requested will be hung in the next few weeks. Christina reported that she was not able to obtain permission from the owners of the building adjacent to the former Food Gallery on 46th Street (northeast corner) and the Galaxy Caf?© to hang our bulletin board.
9. New Business
9.1. Marsh & McLennan Companies Community Grant- Darrick reported that we will be applying for a grant from Marsh & McLennan to fund future projects.
9.2. David Korman moved that we add the Block Association to the list of organizations opposing the stadium on http://nowestsidestadium.org/whoopposes.htm . David?’s motion voted on it and it passed 5 for it and 2 against it.
