First we the residents of Vladeck Houses would like to thank Assemblyman Herman D. Farrell, Jr. 71st Assembly District, New York and his staff for their tremendous help in making this joint effort a great success. I would also like to thank Mr. Al Jackson,Mr. Terrence Johnson and Mr. Paul Perez, who took time from their families and jobs to drive to Gulfport MS.
I especially want to thank the members of the Vladeck Community, employees of Department of Environmental Protection, Vladeck Houses Staff and University Neighborhood High School for their generous donations donations. I would also like to personally thank Mr. Lenny Lazzarino of Manhattan Mini Storage who immediately responded to my request for boxes and maintained constant contact should I have required additonal boxes - thank you Lenny and Manhattan Mini Storage.

LETTER TO COMMUNITY:
During 9/11 people from all over the region rallied together for New Yorker?’s in our time of need, now it is our turn, I ask as your resident leader to please look into your hearts for the people in New Orleans, Alabama and Mississippi ?– If you can donate bottled water, canned food, clothing, disposable wipes, toilet paper, candles, flashlights, batteries, socks, shoes, - plus sizes are desperately needed, anything you can give will help.
The Tenant Association Room located in the basement of 326 Madison Street adjacent to 330 Madison Street - will be open From September 2, 2005 through September 10, 2005 from 2:00 pm through 7:00 pm to accept donations ?– all donations will be delivered directly to the American Red Cross in Houston and Dallas Texas.

I would like to thank everyone in the community in their efforts and donations for all of the victims and their families during this very difficult time.
