Frown Hi Neighbors in Smithfield Villas!

To start with, I have always been in favor of a site like this one. That's why I got on the Communications Committee. I used to do the web site for a club I belong to. When the board was looking for a host for a site of OUR community, several good sites were located. However, they cost a little over $100.00 per year and had a few requirements that had to be met. In short, they were rejected. However, the posts on the boards could be restricted to our residents only.

It's obvious that this discussion board is not what we were hoping for. It's only two days on line and it already five pages of posts from folks all over the country. Not really what we need.  If you want to locate something in particular, Unless I have missed something, you have to look through a lot of meaningless posts (to us) to see what "our residents" have posted.

I realize this is all new, and has some growing pains. If I am incorrect on this, I'm sure

it will be pointed out and suggestions will be made to make it more user friendly to just us.

Joseph, I think the website is nice. However, I agree that the communications committee needs to fine tune it. Have a great day . Your wife Levona

Joe, you are partially correct.  This is just the first step and probably

Ok Joe, you are partially correct.  This is just the first stop and probably not the one that we will be staying with.  Since this is a free site, the committee has decided the get started while we are still looking at the paid sites that offer better security, more restrictive in who can and can not see, etc. etc.  Look for more later.
