Spectrum Finally Working Again The last 48 Hours

They sent a tech out.  He said you were not the only outage the night of 7th until morning of the 8th.  He said I don't know what they told you that.   He said the entire area was out.  He said your equipment is fine.  He spent 90 minutes checking inside and out.  He said there was an outage down the line that was not allowing the signal to reach this area.     It has gone on for days.   Trying to get a credit for the outage is about as bad as having no service.  They literally take 30 minutes each time you demand a credit to get to the point of telling you they will issue it.  

My repair tech said the line work up on South Blvd was probably the culprit.    He said if they cut power to their line it will not transmit the signal.  He said you might have power, but they most likely temp cut the power as they were installing new poles on South Blvd.   That has gone on for months stating down in Pineville area of South Blvd.  

 

Anyway if this continues I will have to look for other options.    They did not run the AT&T Fiber all the way down in front of my house.  They said it was on the pole behind me. They will not connect across the street to it stating it is someone else port to connect.   Because of the way my rear yard slopes the line is either to low in the rear yard or neighbors yard.   The last time I tried to get AT&T  the installer argued for 6 weeks.  Each week they came out and said in the air, in the ground. Then they would go over on Seacoft to reach the pole behind me and say I was not home when they came out.  I finally told them where they could all go!   I was home they were going to the wrong address.    When I moved in my phone line was so low you could not walk under it and it stretched across my neighbors rear yard. I finally climbed a tree and raised it as high as I could so they could walk under it.    Then one time they dug over to the property line and laid the line on the top of the ground behind the hedges.    When fiber came in they were arguing air / ground week after week and I was getting no service.   They even suggested laying the line in my neighbors rear yard.  I said no way.  Don't even asked them. 

 

Choose anyone but Spectrum!     Aways outages with Specturm. Most of the time short ones, but the last week has been horrible.  Hour upon hour of outages day after day.
