Fort Worth Community Arts Center

At the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, we celebrate our community’s diversity through the arts and showcase the talents of regional artists. Our 77,000 square foot facility offers performance, rehearsal, classroom, meeting and exhibition space for rent; an “arts incubator” designed as office space for arts groups; and special events space.

Designed for adults and children alike, the Center offers a place for the celebration and creation of ideas including: dance, theater, studio art, music, opera, and poetry.

The Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge

The Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge (FWNC&R) is located just inside the city limits of Fort Worth , Texas . The FWNC&R is a hidden jewel, a wilderness comprised of forests, prairies and wetlands reminiscent of how much of the Fort Worth/Dallas metroplex once looked. Replete with native flora and fauna, the area beckons to those searching for a piece of nature to refresh their spirits and reintroduce a measure of tranquility to their increasingly urban lifestyles.

At over 3600 acres the FWNC&R is the largest city-owned nature center in the United States , and offers residents and visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural history of north central Texas . Over 20 miles of hiking trails provide easy access to a myriad of natural wonders to be found on the Refuge, and staff naturalists at the Hardwicke Interpretive Center are available to facilitate your exploration.
