Fraudulent notice gives wrong election date

Tarrant County?’s Elections Administrator Steve Raborn announced today that a fraudulent election notice is being distributed in Fort Worth. The flyer has the wrong election date and is falsely identified as coming from the Tarrant County Elections Office. Printed in English and Spanish, the flyer has the Tarrant County Seal and the Elections Office ?“Tarrant Votes?” logo.

The notice states, ?“Voters wishing to cast their ballots for the State of Texas Constitutional Amendments Election, or for Fort Worth City Council District 9, cast their ballots on the final Election Day, Saturday, November 10th.?”

Please note, Election Day is NOT Saturday, November 10. Election Day is Tuesday, November 6. For more information about voting on November 6, call the Tarrant County Election Administration Office at 817-831-VOTE (8683).
