Code Blue hesitant about informing us of crime?

Residents,

I hesitated about sending this Crime Alert, but I think it's important to let everyone know about the crime from last week. There were two residences that were burglarized last week. One through an unlocked window and the other from an open garage door. One home was on Tacoma Ridge on the west side of Alta Vista and the other was on Aspen Creek (near Park Vista and Keller Hicks).

There were also 2 BMV's (Burglary of Motor Vehicles). One on Crystal Falls Dr. (near Independence Elem.) and the other on Wild Pear (the street with the pool near Kenny). Both vehicles had a lot of valuables inside. One had the window smashed and they stole the stereo, a laptop, and an IPOD!! The other vehicle was UNLOCKED and had a cell phone, credit card and CD's stolen.

There was a theft of a childs electric car on Netleaf (near Keller Hicks and Woodland Springs Dr.) The car was left outside.

As you can see these were easy crimes to commit. Unlocked doors, windows and garage doors!! Please secure your family and your belongings.
