Currently The Villages of Woodland Springs Homeowners Association is a plaintiff in court documents against James W Smith, who is the defendent.

According to court documents, James sought approval from the ACC to build and erect a second story deck and extend his patio. The court records appear to give permission by Ross Calhoun. However, SBB Management, through the agent Betty Picciano sent a letter to the Smith's stating 'no upper structures'.

Can this happen to anyone who follows procedure and request approval and then after beginning construction the approval can be removed?

Many are awaiting the judge's final ruling to see what impact if any, it may have on the community as a whole.
