THE VILLAGE VOICE JUNE, 2002

HELLO VILLAGERS,

We are all started on another great year at The Village!!! Everyone should have received a new Committee Listing for 2002-2003. Your Board of Directors would like to thank everyone who will be serving this year. If you are not listed on a Committee and would like to serve it?s not too late!! Please contact the chair of the committee you would like to serve on and they will do their best to add you to the committee.

All homeowners should have a white binder containing important information about our community. If you do not have one please contact Lisa Brackett. All information you receive should go into these binders. If you should have any questions or concerns in the Village please contact the pertinent committee or a Board member and they will be happy to help you.

The Newsletter will be distributed about every three months. If you have any News and/or announcements you would like included please contact the Hospitality Committee. Our next Village Celebration will be held on July 4th for Independence Day. You will receive a flyer announcing this event at a later date. Be sure to check your newspapers for fire works and other celebrations around town. There are plenty!!!

We hope everyone had a safe and happy Memorial Day. The pool is now open 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Please review the Pool Rules posted at the pool. They are there for all of our protection and enjoyment.

We give a warm Village WELCOME to our new neighbors Rob & Terri Shropshire at 1741 Village Ridge Pl., James & Martha Bland at 1731 Village Ridge Pl., and to Clyde & Bryce Smith at 1707 Wainwright Ct. We sincerely hope that you all will enjoy living in our community.

Mr. & Mrs. Bill Scott wanted to convey a very sincere Thank You to the Village for the memorial made in memory of Joan?s mother.

Please find attached a notice from our Landscape Company. I think we can all agree on how much nicer our community is looking with this new company. If you have any questions or concerns about the service feel free to contact Jane Van Dyck of the Landscape committee.

If you are interested in renting the Clubhouse please contact Margaret Cutsinger of the Clubhouse & Pool Committee to make arrangements.

Remember the SPEED LIMIT in our community is 15mph with NO Exceptions!!! Please adhere to this speed limit it only adds about 30 seconds to your driving time.

PRESIDENT?S NOTE from I.J. PATTERSON:

I look forward to serving as President of the 2002-2003 Board of Directors and our Community. Thanks to the excellent stewardship of Hank Cutsinger and the previous Board, we have moved forward with our finances in order and a strong commitment from our residents. As evidenced by the number of those who have volunteered to serve as board or committee members, our association can continue to respond to the changing needs of our community. Thank you all for your confidence and your willingness to serve.

We hope to see you all at our 4th of July celebration, it is a great way to meet and talk with your neighbors. HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY SUMMER!!!!!!
