Our Trash Day - NAVY
Our current trash pickup day is Wednesday and will remain so until after Labor Day.
Please be sure to have your trash bin to the curb by 6:00am, since we seem to be the first stop by the city crew.
To schedule pickup of bulky items,things that will not fit into your trash bin please call 645-TRSH(8774)
Yard Waste
The City of Columbus has contracted with Rumpke to provide Yard Waste recycling. Biodegradable paper yard waste bags (available at grocery and hardware stores)or your own plastic or metal containers (not bigger than 32 gallons) labeled yard waste should be placed at the curb by 6:00am on Wednesday.
Household Recycling
Nearly 50 drop-off sites are located around Columbus at selected fire stations, recreation centers and Kroger stores. One close is over behind the Lazelle Rd. Fire Station. A Curb side recycling program is avaliable thru Rumpke.
