Well the construction on the SINGLE family dewlling has begun for 2 days from 830 am to 830 pm we have had to indure the noise of a back up alarm and concrete saw and heavy construction equiupment and this is just the start.there has to be some way that this construction can be as unabtrusive the the neighbors as possible we all work hard all day long and the last thing we need to come home to is backhoes and saws ruining a quiet evening. today was a beautiful day but with all the beeping from the backup alarm on the hoe we had to keep our windows and doors shut and to watch tv ha forget it. at 730 i ask the person how much longer he was going to be and was told another hour now this after almost 12 straight hours Is this the kind of respect that someone shows the nieghbors yea sure cause they will go back to their house outside the village where they live. They dont have to look any of the residents in the village in the eyes. This is what is so bad about this.someone cares more about the all mighty buck than the comunity they live in. Hey I have a novel idea why not try to sell homes to familes that want to live here rather that investors that cant vote for our next levy as soon as the investors out number the homeowners we wont need the mayor or counsel and police
hope you day was a quiet one
Sorry Terry

I tried to tell the residents all this when I was there. They had the attitude, ''It doesn't concern me.'' I guess it is your concern now that it is effecting you personally. I know of only two places they could be building close to you. You are experiencing the ''investors'' first hand.

You have John Hellwege, Mike Albert, Craig Smith and a couple of others who are ruled by the almighty buck. These three had 16 rentals in Valleyview, when I left. John Hellwege had 25 in the county. These are your ''investors'' and they CAN vote!

There are hours of construction by law. You can start at 8:00 am. By law, you can build a single family dwelling in Valleyview.

By attending council meetngs, you can voice your objection for some the the zoning they may want to force on you. They have been trying to tell you how you can paint your house. If a neighbor complains about something on your property, they can come into your house and inspect. These things were discussed at council before I was elected. I voiced my objections, and said no. When you have a small group running the Village, the residents have no voice. I was told, the residents can say what they want, but they don't decide. It is hard to tell what they will force on you in the future.

John Hellwege made the statement, ''I will own Valleyview.'' They find out who is willing to sell. The houses are not advertised. Then you see a Re/Max sign, SOLD! They are selling to people they want to be there and who will vote the way they want.

I was one voice and the ones in power, libeled and slandered me. The residents lost because they would not take responsibilty for their neighbors concerns. I love Valleyview and am still working on the same things as when I was there.

The people who were and the ones now, have caused the residents to lose thousands of dollars because they would and will not demand that the court give back what is yours by law.

I will, force Tom Watkins' former employers to come forward and tell the public what they told me about his history with them.

Good luck.

Noise Concerns

Terry,

I brought it up at Council about the noise. There was work being done on the lot across from me as well on Sunday. The sound of the backhoe and wood chipper ran all day as well.

I am not against people improving their lots, but I have concerns of noise before noon on a Sunday.

The Mayor stated that he would contact the owner and express the noise concerns. We are also looking into the noise ordinance and see what else is on the books.

If you have any other concerns please feel free to contact me offline.
What?

You live across the street from the pool. What are they doing to it?
