Valleyview was the subject of a news story on Newscenter ABC6/Fox28 tonight. Someone who received a ticket from Valleyview is sueing the Village.

The man was stopped by a State Highway Patrolman and arrested for an outstanding warrant from Valleyview. The news story showed the video from the Troopers car camera and shows the man saying that he paid the fine, had a receipt and paid it to the Mayor. The lawsuit claims that the Village did not and does not have valid ordinances for the Officers to be writing tickets against. The man's lawyer was quoted as saying that this would effect anyone who had ever received a ticket from Valleyview and that there were a lot of people who received tickets.

Channel 6/28's Carol Luper was at the Village Hall when the Mayor was served the lawsuit.

The story ended with the viewers being reminded about New Rome and how it was disbanded.

The story has not been posted on ABC6/FOX28's website yet.

I am sure there will be more to follow. As I learn more I will post the information.
Thank's Paul

I may give Carol Luper a call. I can tell her where to look for other ''fraud'' in Valleyview that you wouldn't listen to.

What officers did. What Watkins' former employers told me. OPWC fraud, etc.

I knew it was just a manner of time to prove what I said, without your help. You got what you asked for but not what the residences deserve.

Do you believe the man paid Watkins? What did he do with the money? Who had to sign the warrant? Who is the clerk? It is easy to check.

The Messenger articles leave egg on someone's face, and John Chapman, the bag of wind he is.

Your Welcome?

I believe that the man paid the Mayor. I believe that the man said that he had a receipt and that should easily be shown in the Village records. The Mayor was running Mayor's Court at that time and he would be responsible for clearing the ticket and removing the warrant. Seems someone did not follow up and get the warrant cleared.

Again this is in the first stages and whatever you want to bring up unrelated to this discussion go ahead but it is off subject. This discussion is about a lawsuit filed against Valleyview. Nothing has proven you right yet about your claims Ms. White.

I personally do not believe that the Mayor should have put himself in the position of taking the payment and having to write a receipt. That is what the Mayor's Court Clerk is for. It looks bad. Just the mere hint of a look of improperity opens the door for people such as yourself Ms. White to start ranting and raving about this or that whether it is related to the subject or not. The Mayor probably thought he was doing the man a favor by taking the payment to prevent him from having to come back at another time when the Mayor's Court Clerk was there. In trying to do this man a favor it nows look bad when all of Columbus hears how the Mayor took the man's money and then still had him arrested for an outstanding warrant.

I was not there and everything will be before a court of law and then judgement can be made.

If it is shown that the man was arrested by mistake than he should get compensation from the Village, but the lawsuit is not necessarily about that, the lawsuit claims that the village did not have valid Ordinances to be writing tickets against. If that is proven than the Village has much bigger problem. I do not believe that to be the case because I was on the Council during 2005 and I am sure that we passed an Ordinance accepting the Ohio Basic Code which the tickets would have been written against. I would have to check my records, but the Ordinance is voted on every year accepting the latest version of the Ohio Basic Code.

Again, as I learn more I will post the information here.
Very Much So

Mr. Parrish,

Valleyviewre was talking about corrupt police officers. The mayor is over the police officers.

It is a matter of the officer's and mayor's honesty.

Don't start shifting the blame to me for bringing these things to light when you WERE on council. You and Watkins were so intent on getting the residences against me that you overlooked what was in your face and called me a thief.

Why did Russolillo raise such a fuss when I checked on Mark Consolo?

Why did they file false charges against me? LOOK IT UP!!!!
