Wow, how things have changed from last year to this year. You had to dig to page 12 for the news on Valleyview in the Messenger about a Council Meeting. I think that is great. It shows that we are no longer a spectacle for the Westside to watch.

That does not mean that the work is done, just means that what needs to be done is getting done. Residents still need to be involved and the Village cannot exist without the involvement of the residents. There is still more work ahead, but we have a really great start.

Residents should not rely that someone else will do the job for them. Take an active part in the Village and keep informed. Attend meetings, read the newsletter and talk to your neighbors.

The Council needs your input to make sure that we are going in the direction that is best for the Village. Without your input the Village Council makes the decisions it feels is best.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or any of the other members of Council. Contact information can be found in the newsletter or you can contact Village Hall at 279-5630.
What Happened?

It appears that the residents of Valleyview have no ideas or opinions. You sure had enough of them when I was there. I guess you are afraid now because your name will show. That is a shame. Are you still afraid of me or still of the Village Authority?

No one has replied to any of Mr. Parrish's postings. If I was the thief, why was I not prosecuted to get your money back?

I lived there for 37 years and am still concerned even though I am not there, my house was illegally entered and robbed. There was no report taken, just has none was taken when I was threatened, in person and on the internet.

I guess nothing has changed.I will be there in the spring to protest at the attorney general and sheriff's offices. I intend to make enough trouble to get arrested, then the truth will come out.

As a person we all know and love said, ''You name might be all over the news too.'' But it won't be for the reason he had planned for me.

See you in the spring.

Police Report

A report would need to be signed and made in person. The alledged incident to which Ms. White is referring too is being handled by the Sheriff's department, not by the Valleyview police.

The Department that initially takes the report is the lead agency. Because the VPD did not take the report they are not investigating the matter. To my knowledge Ms. White has been contacted or attempted to be contacted by the VPD to explain to her that the VPD is not involved in the matter.
