The Village has a new Solicitor as of Tuesday (8/8). Narcus Tsiliacos' extended contract expired at the end of July. He was not fired, his contract was not renewed.
Don Worley is the new Solicitor. He was a candidate the Village had considered a little over a year ago when the Solicitor's position was put out for interviews.
Mr. Worley has a strong background in municipal law and was the former solicitor for Obetz. Valleyview is fortunate to have someone of his ability and experience as the Village Solicitor.
Mr. Tsilacos served Valleyview well, and I am saddened that the Council chose not to renew his contract. I personally want to thank Mr. Tsilacos for his service to the Village duirng a very difficult time. He served Valleyview well and I found him great to work with while I served on Council.
I am glad that the Village made a strong choice and has hired Mr. Worley.
