WHAT'S THE LAW

That prohibits me from telling my neighbors and friends about the sexual offender who has moved into our village? Where is my right to freedom of speech. Where are the victims rights? Where are the dozens upon dozens of children and womens rights to live and play in a safe environment? How can the sexual predators be protected to the extent they are, then when something happens and they re-offend we( the community) are ask to help. It would be a much bigger help to tell the little cheerleaders who came to my door selling cookies, not to go to the house one the hill for their own protection. Thus eliminating their becoming victims in the first place. What in the world has happened to our justice system? Who is going to come to my house and arrest me for letting my friends and neighbors know.? The same police we fought so hard to keep? We all have kids or grandkids or know kids. If you are not concerned about there being 68 sexual predators in the 43204 zip code, then I am concerned why you aren't. I would appriciate someone to tell me why the offender living right here in the village has the right to do so safely and without fear of harm, while the residents fear for their own. Looking forward to any and all logical responses. None of this '' he has rights too. '' Try running that by a rape victim just once.

The Law

As long as the pictures and addresses of the offenders are on the Sheriff website, I don't know of any law that COULD keep you from telling your neighbors. I would if I were there.

The thing you can't do, is show their pictures !!!!!!!!!! The website won't allow you to print from the sight. I wanted to post their pictures at the Village Hall so the parents and children could see. I was told YOU CAN'T DO THAT! CRAP !!

You fought to keep the police. That was a mistake, since the ones are still there who are a big problem!

They can't get hired by anyone else.
