New Police Cruiser Hits The Streets

The new Police Cruiser is out on the streets and residents should have seen it out and about in the Village. Before the cruiser could begin patrolling the radio equipment had to be installed.

This police cruiser is a major upgrade from previous cruisers the Village has purchased. Officers in the past have asked for a PA system for the cruisers for safety during an arrest or traffic stop and the new cruiser provides a PA system and all new lights to provide for more safety for the officers.

The Police Department was invited to participate in the Grandview Memorial Weekend Parade with the new police cruiser. The new cruiser was a hit with the other departments and a picture of the cruiser will appear in the FOP magazine.

Stop the officers as they drive through the Village and have a look at the new Cruiser.
