Mayor's Court Clerk's Office Open Again

Jan 08, 2004

Former Mayor's Court Clerk Suzi Sullivan has returned to work limited hours to begin again collecting fine payments and maintain the records for the Mayor's Court of the Village of Valleyview.

With the disbanding of the Village Police Department in August 2003 Ms. Sullivan's position was elminated by then Mayor Raylene Graves. Ms. Sullivan was fortunate enough to quickly find another job, but has agreed to return to help the Village on a part-time basis to help keep Valleyview's Mayor's Court operating efficently.

Many individuals who received tickets before the disbanding of the Police Department were left unable to make payment or to get licenses that were suspended cleared. With Ms. Sullivan's return the Village can once again begin accepting payment of traffic fines and work to clear licenses of those individuals that have paid their fines.

Hours will be from 5 to 7 pm on Monday's and Tuesday's evenings for people to be able come in to pay fines and get license releases. For more information please contact the Village Hall at (614) 279-5630
