The Voice will be looking at what the council and mayor have accomplished over the past year during the first year of the Eaddy, Graves, Morgan, and White administration.
Accomplishments For The Village Government
Over The Past Year?…..

?·Repealed the Nuisance Light Ordinance at the request of friend and council member Sue Huber

?·Passed Three (3) Budget Re-appropriation Ordinances to cover additional expenses incurred by the Village because of their poor management.

?·Depleted The Village Savings and General Fund Accounts.

?·Incurred Over $10,000 in expenses in an unsuccessful attempt to fire the Police Chief

?·Failed to provide adequate Police Coverage.

?·Held the Annual Village Wiener Roast.

?·Failed to provide proper maintenance and care for the parks and playground equipment.

?·Failed to properly manage the financial situation of the Village.

?·Used the Village Cell Phone for personal use and incurred over $400.00 in personal phone calls

?·Used Village funds to perform work for a private property owner.

?·Completed a new fire protection contract at the last minute.

?·Spent more money than was budgeted for council members salaries.

?·Conducted an Easter Egg Hunt.

?·Banned Pets From The Ball field.

?·Lighted the Village Hall for Christmas.

?·Increased Council Meetings duration to almost 4 hours

?·Argued and Fought with Residents at Council Meetings threatening them with physical harm and challenging them to meet outside the Village.

?·Created the position of fiscal officer so that they could hire a personal friend for the position who then failed to do the job and cost the Village more money.

?·Failed to represent the people that they were elected to represent.

?·Made Valleyview a laughing stock among the Columbus Metro Area and mentioned in the same breath with New Rome.

?·Failed to fulfill the oath they took when they took office.

?·Did not attend and / or walked out of meetings.

?·Appointed Robert Graves, Sue Huber, Paul Parrish and Steve Williams to the council

?·C. Dennis Eaddy resigned after only 6 months in office failing those that elected him to represent them.

?·Council member Graves found guilty of slander.

?·Removed the ride-along program with the Police Officers.

?·Dropped by the insurance company that provided coverage to the Village.

?·Hiring the Mayor's own personal lawyer than firing him when he would not support her in firing the police chief.

?·Put Village Police protection in a questionable status.

This Village Administration did not fulfill their responsibilities of providing the services that the residents are paying for and have placed the village in a critical financial situation. The Village Administration have neither the skills or knowledge to properly perform their duties and managing this Village and they all should step down and allow those that can perform the job to take over.
