WATKINS TAKES OATH OF OFFICE

Thomas E. Watkins was sworn in as Mayor for the Village of Valleyview by Ohio Secretary of State, J. Kenneth Blackwell, on the afternoon of Tuesday December 30th, 2003. Mr. Watkins begins his term of office January 1st which runs through December 31st, 2007. Mr. Watkins was joined by his family and friends in the office of the Secretary of State.

Mr. Blackwell administered the Oath of Office and spoke briefly to Mr. Watkins congratulating him on being elected and wished him well in his new office. Mr. Blackwell then conducted a short tour before having to return to the business of the State.
