New in 2006 : A Website for LAPD's Pacific Region

A convenient way to check out crime in YOUR area

Senior Lead Officer Craig White wrote on March 7, 2006:
"Citizens of 14A25's Area,
We here at Pacific Area, with the help of members of the community have started a web site, "www.pacificbeat.net" to help keep the citizens of the community informed and to have a local resource to go to. Please look it over and you will find a wealth of information that is directly related to our community. If you are a member of a homeowners group, neighborhood watch group, etc. please pass this on. The best aspect from my point of view, is that it will give you access to crime statistics and other information that I am asked for on a regular basis. I am also putting together a weekly crime statistic program that will help me to keep you up to date. Craig White, Senior Lead Officer, 14A25"
Note: Please note that the "14A25" area (also known as "Basic Car A-25" area) is for residences to the North of Venice Blvd. If you reside to the South of Venice Blvd., you are in the "14A45" area (also known as "Basic Car A-45" area) with Senior Lead Officer Heidi Llames. Remember which figure, "25" or "45", applies to you: you will need to know this when you look on the new web site for what is happening in your area.
