Valencia Northbridge HOA

I've got a neighbor a few houses down who leaves a barking dog outside all day while they go to work. I'm a writer and work at home and the noise is very disturbing! I like my neighbors and don't want to get them into trouble, but is there a way to make a complaint anonymously to the HOA?

I called the Mgmnt office a couple of years ago about this. They won't do anything. But you can report them to the city. Forms are online. Basically nothing will get done unless you keep meticulous records of dates, times and duration of the barking. I have a similar problem but just resigned myself to listening to it and shushing the dogs from the other side of the wall.;-) It is sad and frustrating that anyone has to deal with a neighbor's barking dogs!

Several years ago, when we moved into a new house, one of our dogs stayed outside and barked a lot after we went to work.  I really appreciated it when I received a nice note from the neighbor explaining what was happening and asking us to look into it.  I did...immediately...and got the problem solved.  I would recommend trying one or two nicely worded notes before registering a complaint.  We dog owners sometimes really don't realize there is a problem.  Good luck!
