I wonder if I am alone in suffering a horrible degradation of transmission quality over the past 10 months.  I began noticing how terrible the picture was last September when the NFL returned to TV and have been suffering with poor quality TV since.  Despite numerous visits to our home and the adjoining neighborhood by technicians there has been no improvement.  Despite telephone complaints, emails, online chats, regular discussions with a retention specialist in St. Louis, promises to have a technical manager contact me I have experienced no relief.

I am wondering if banding together under the aegis of the EARA might get some answers.  Or maybe we should consider inviting AT&T and other fiber optic service providers a chance to enter our neighborhood.

Hey, you are not alone.  I'm having the same problem.  Have you had any luck getting a resolution from Charter?

None at all.  It has been an arduous and unpleasant journey this past year trying to resolve the issue.  Our conclusion -- time to switch to satellite.  Charter is obviously unable to address our problem and unwilling to even discuss the nature of the problem with us.  We feel that either they do not understand the issue or that they do not have the resources to make the repairs.  Since it is area wide it must be a small area in the Charter world so that they can opt to neglect us.
