Upper Bear Creek HOA

Hello-

I've self-nominated for a position on the Covenants Committee. I see a couple of other self-nominations for that and I think one for the Board. Can anyone, Board Member or otherwise, advise if there are nominations that have not appeared on the website?

Elections

When the By-Laws revised by the Board May 3, 2007 are reviewed you will note that the Election is to be held according to Robert's Rules.
I have not heard of any other nominees but I am not speaking for the Board just as a current member of the Board. Traditionally nominees are nominated by a third party and the last three elections I have witnessed, the nominees were not disclosed until the election night.
You may also note in the current By-Laws that only dues paying members are eligible to hold an elected position. Those of you interested in holding a position will want to be current with your dues. Dues are $50.00 per year per member, yes they are voluntary, only members who wish to vote or hold office need to have paid their dues.
