The next Bellemeade city council meeting is Monday, March10, 7:30 .P.M.  at Lyndon City Hall...515 Wood Rd, Louisville Ky.  The REVISED tree ordinance WILL HAVE A FIRST READING.    Please come and help us protest this ordinance.   The complete ordinance is on the Bellemeade website.  Pay special attention to Section 13 concerning the $250 per day fine.

 

I will try to make this meeting although I have small children.  I can't believe the inconvience of this.  I wish there were a way for all to vote.  By mail maybe, or email.  I feel that even if all show up, our voices are not realized.

Thanks for your reply.  Good idea to get a lot of e mail responses!  Today, even in the snow, there is a petition circulating against Ordinance #2.  Several neighbors have been working hard going door to door  and have gotten  many signatures against it.  If you can't come to the meeting please e mail the city council.  There is always a chance the meeting will be cancelled to due to road conditions. 

I am glad to say that our voices were heard and major changes made to the proposal.
