I-25 Closure; Orchard and Arapahoe

April 17-19

What: I-25 will be closed in both directions between Orchard Road and Arapahoe Road.


When: Sunday, April 17, through Tuesday, April 19, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night.

Why: Crews will be installing the pedestrian bridge over I-25 that will take pedestrians from the Arapahoe at Village Center park-n-Ride on the east side of the highway to the light rail station on the west side of the highway.

The local detour routes around this closure are as follows:

Southbound I-25

Exit at Orchard Road and go west to Quebec Street, south on Quebec Street to Arapahoe Road and east on Arapahoe Road back to southbound I-25.

Northbound I-25

Exit at Arapahoe Road and go west to Quebec Street, north on Quebec Street to Orchard Road and east on Orchard Road back to northbound I-25.

I-25 through traffic should avoid the area by using
C-470/E-470 and I-70
