PARKING PERMITS

Jan 24, 2004

At least 20 UP blocks are posted for one-hour-only parking 8 AM to
10 PM, to discourage DU-related parkers. ? Residents on those blocks must apply for stickers for their own cars if they wish to park on the street (for over an hour). ? They may also apply for a Visitor Permit, for an arriving guest to put on the dashboar
- and return it upon departing. ? If hosting a meeting or party, ? ?“one-event?” permits are needed which are only available at 110 16th St. Rm. 780 (720-913-5365) with proof of residency, etc. ? Without permits, guests must move cars each hour or risk a $20
icket. ? Councilman Charlie Brown, 303-871-0601, is trying
to develop a less cumbersome and time-consuming process. ? Hope he succeeds!
