I posted this notice well over a year ago, but I'm going to repost it, in that, I think we need additional participation in our email program here in the neighborhood.
This note on Highland Park Email is posted here in the ?“Talk About It?” section to ask for input by any of our Association members. Please don?’t hesitate to send in your suggestions on any aspects of the Email program that we are presently using here in our neighborhood association. In the past, we have primarily used email distribution to announce upcoming events here in the neighborhood, and to alert people of anything that has recently occurred, such as break-ins, burglaries, thief?’s, etc. If you think we should be using it for any additional purposes, please voice your opinion. We try to keep one thing in mind, however, and that is ?“we want the program to be helpful and informative, but yet not intrusive or bothersome?”. So far, all comments on the use of our email here in the association have been positive and appreciative. We want to keep it that way! We plan to continue email notifications as we have in the past, but now you will be able to read about events in more detail in our new Highland Park Homepage on the Internet at http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/tulsa/highlandparkhoa
Though it?’s steadily growing, a relatively small percentage of our total Highland Park members have signed up on the Email listing. So, please make your friends and neighbors aware of the email listing, and encourage them to enroll in the program. We feel like it is still the best and fastest way to get alerts to the area residents. There is no cost involved, and all they have to do is send an email to Don Sutton at donsutton@cox.net, and they will be included.
