HOA Dues

Posted in: Village Of Kensington

Research I've been able to do has confirmed that I quite possibly live in a subdivision with the highest HOA dues around, even at last years rate.   Now I'm being asked to pay another $50 annual increase for the 2nd straight year to a jaw-dropping total of $625 per year.   It's not as though I live in a subdivision with a clubhouse and a life guard at the pool either.

How much are you all paying for your HOA dues, what is included? and what if any options are out there?   Can we merge with a neighboring subdivsion's HOA and leverage a larger base of homeowners especially since we share strips of common areas along Antioch?
