Old Business item

b. Hospice has been established on Janway Dr. The city did not contact association as er were told they would.

c. NIP Project - $$17,000 for Janway gate

e. TXDot - School Zones on Janway and Wedgewood - projects are already in the books just need to get funded

f. Windrock utilities will be underground

Finance report - balance $54.72

Election of new officers:

President - Kim Reagan

Vice President - Tom Schrivner

Treas. - Mary Linney

Dues: a motion was made to raise dues to $10.00 yearly, voted on, and passed.

Ray Graham spoke on hehalf of the Eastside Civis Assoc. The next meeting will be Oct. 2, 2014 for the general election at the EPCC Board Room, 6:30.  Mr. Graham encouraged more involvement ; example - the selection process for the new YISD Supertindent.

Tom Schrivner and Mrs. Lewis met with EHS personel. Suggestions agreed upon during drainage construction;

a. city will ask permission to put a fence on EHS property to prevent student access to drainage  box

b. ask for more police presence

c. ask Lutheran church permission to use site as drop off

d. have crossing guard on McRae

e. address the apparent breakdown notifying and updating parents

Tom Schrivner spoke to the contractors concerning damage from construction to property and filing a claim with contractor to pay for damages.  He is going to research the process to file a claim and will report back.  He was told the city attorney's office has a form for this purpose.

Desired changes to drainage project: upon dam completion streets, curbs and new surfact on Windrock by May 7; clear perimeter of pond as soon as possible; box culvert on Windrock by April 1; bring 2 eccavators to install the three French drains; final cut and dressing pond; box culvert with a 9x5 box near EHS from Mcrae to Linum by mid Sept. using 2 crews; and completely finished by December 2014.

Association would like one site to meet with all the different city departments.
