Posted in: Fort Beaubien

Bulk trash consists mainly of those materials that cannot be placed in your green/black garbage container or recycled in your blue recycling container.

Bulk trash is collected from city-serviced residences four times each year. Material cannot be placed out for collection more than one week prior to collection, since it is important to keep neighborhoods and city looking clean and beautiful.

Hey I have some batteries from my alarm system and a computer backup power supply. They are not as big as a car battery but they probably shouldn't be thrown in the trash. Do you know if they will pick these up?

Batteries become toxic waste when thrown into the trash. You can call Solid Waste Customer Service at 602-262-7251 for toxic waste removal pick up services..

We should all try our best to recycle old batteries and electronics only at proper drop off stations. There is a great place down the street called Global Electronic Recycling. You can drop off old computer parts/electronics/batteries . THey are located at 1815 E Deer valley Rd. in between 7th st and cave creek.
