Has the mowing and maintenance of common areas gone down? By the time the mowers go by the back of my house, all I can see are the very tops of duck heads. Also seems like trees are not being maintained well -- crepe myrtles with suckers growing high and wild at their bases, for example. It seems like there's been an increase in "wild life" -- possums and such. Could less maintenance be part of the reason for that?

I've noticed the maintenence in the common areas is way below par including the parks and the lake area.  There's little trimming around the lake with lots of brush and overgrowth.  Thank God we've had rain but now no one trims.  The parks have dead plants with no new landscaping.  We bought our place because of the lovely garden atmosphere.  There was evidence of pride and care and the Declaration of Covenants for Town Lake promised the preservation of this garden-type environment.  Is there anyone out there wishing to preserve what we once had?  Who do we appeal to, the board? Wildwood?  Does anyone care?

Some of the owners care but the BOA does not. I have asked several times about the care of the parks and why they do not at least water them. The VP is very good at changing the subject. The fountain in the lake has not worked in over a year and they just give you some lame excuse for not having it repaired. We pay our dues and still nothing gets done.
