Large park Brush Cut

Posted in: Towne Lake Garden

I see that someone didn't like the idea that the bushes along the curb were cut so that the benches are now visible from the street.

I just went out side and found that someone had pulled the brush across the street so that a car could not get through. My son and I ceared the street.

Thanks a bunch!    We are trying to take advantage of the free city brush pick up.  Yes, the intent of cutting the junipers was to open up visibility.    The trend in public park areas is low vegitation with good visibility.   This practice will continue along with planting low water use flowering plants like lantana, salvia etc.

There is a work party scheduled for Sat. at 9am to trim the ornamental pear trees at the entrance that keep getting hit by the UPS trucks.  Help if you can or bring goodies for the volunteers.

Thanks for the work  in the larger common area.   The trees and bushes were planted over 20 years ago; many are now crowded and overgrown, long past their prime.  These common areas cost a pile of money to implement.   I wish more residents would visit the areas; cruisers are less apt to stop when they see adults sitting on the benches.
