Towne Lake Garden Association

FEMA has come up with new flood plain maps and Towne Lake is now included in a flood plain.
Go to bexarfloodfacts.org and look under ''Hot Topics'' to see the new maps.
This is currently a proposal....but if we are indeed determined to be in a flood plain...the ramifications concerning property values and insurance issues could be serious.
There is a series of meetings coming up.
Should the Board consider some sort of protest?

The big flood of Oct. '98 was the real test. TowneLake was fine. The problem lies in all the building upstream.
