I respect the efforts of Towne Lake to enforce the covenants and restrictions. However, I have received two notices in the last three months about non-compliance that have been unwarranted. The most recent, dated Nov. 13, is for having trash on my lawn. This was actually materials for charity, that were placed at the curb at 8:00 am and were picked up by the charity at 11:00 am. Seriously- three hours, and there was a card identifying it as a charity donation. Whoever's ''spot inspection'' resulted in turning me in for that is overzealous. Given that this is the second unreasonable notice of noncomplicance in the last three months, I wonder if others are experiencing this, or if I have been singled out for some reason?

harrassment here too.
Since when is my driveway a common area?? I have a basketball goal out in the driveway which has been there for YEARS. My son happens to play basketball on it. It is not on the street and is not attached to the house, and it is not perminent. I am not going to have him move it in and out every day. So are the homowners with all of the cars in the street blocking common areas? How is this is and obstruction of the common area according to section 6.3 of bylaws that have not been distrubuted to homeowners in years.

We got one too for a trash bags of leaves up by our garage...
We do want the neighborhood to be nice, however there are homes that look like crap, a truck parked on Lake Path that has no moved in months and has expired sickers, etc...
There are actual problems that they should address as well, but they never actually get anthin done around here other than sending a couple letters out...

This community must be do as I say not as I do. Seeing as I have seen board members with there trash at the curb before 8pm the night before pick up. Several of us do that as we are cleaning are yards etc during the day some even stick it out on saturday. As long as it is in a bag or can who cares that doesn't loose the appeal of our community anymore than the roads do.. Don't worry, we who aren't on the board all get these letters even when a small branch is in your yard that has come down do to weather. Someone has no life and the only thing they have to do is drive around and nit pick.. Its crap!!! There are neighbors who have always left there cans in there front yard next to there gates...
