Joint Select Committee on Redistricting Announces Public Hearings Schedule

Colorado.jpgThe legislature will be redrawing congressional districts to equalize population, as they do every 10 years.
The legislature has formed a joint House-Senate committee to take public testimony.

The Committee will hold at least one meeting in each of Colorado’s seven congressional districts.

Individuals who are unable to attend any of the public hearings may submit written testimony to the committee until March 25. Testimony may be submitted via e-mail to: CongRedist2011@state.co.us or via mail to Redistricting Staff Room 029, State Capitol, 200 E. Colfax, Denver, CO 80203.
