Box Tops for Education

Posted in: Cambridge
Hi again neighbors. I have just learned that we can do alot to help our children here in this area just by paying attention to what we are throwing away. Yep, what we are throwing away. I would like you all to start looking at the products you have in your home. If you use Hefty garbage bags, see if you notice a Box Tops coupon on the box. If you use Cottonelle toilet paper, or Scott napkins, Viva paper towels, look for the coupon. Same goes for Ziploc brand and Saran Wrap. Then you have Betty Crocker baking goods. How about cereal? Or fruit snacks? Even Pop Secret pop corn. There are many products that have these little coupons on the box. And these little coupons are money for our schools. Think about it. If we collect these coupons, and send take them to the schools, they will benefit from the money that Box Tops redemes them for. That can be alot less that we pay as tax payers, and it doesn't cost us a thing. Just keeping the coupons. I'd like to see how many Cambridge can collect to split up between the schools that our children attend. I'd everyone to collect these and we'll have the kids come around and get the coupons to take to school. If you'd like more information about these product, go to the General Mills web page www.boxtops4education.com. There you can find a whole list of products that you can get the coupons from. Lets help our children and ourselves as well. Other schools like those in Martinez and Columbia County are already taking advantage of this. Why aren't we?? Lets get with the program!
Blessings to all!
